Hey, how 'bout that Tyler Arnason tearin' it up with the Hartford Wolf Pack of the AHL. (lol). The deadbeat has 0 goals & 1 assist in 6 games---and is 2nd worst +/- on his team. Thank God that bum is but a bad memory.

Anderson is starting to look a little worn down. He's still playing well but there were 1 or 2 last night I thought he normally could have had. I still haven't seen any weak goals though.

The Wings are starting Jimmy Howard. It only seems fair that we give them a chance and start Weidman instead. LOL But seriously I too think Andy deserves a rest and this could be the game but then too the team is off for a couple days after tonight.

It's getting to the point where it doesn't matter so much if the Avs are winning games NOW. What matters is that Anderson is not a seasoned goaltender in respect to playing high number of games per season. He may be fine now, but come Janurary - April and maybe beyond, there is a very real possibility that he'll be flat out gassed.

The Avs deserved to lose the game last night. Anderson was awful, and if not for some very generous officiating that kept them with a man advantage for the last portion, I'm certain Carolina would have found a way to tie it and win it.

I guess Stall's chop across Jones' legs was not a slash. Hannan tripping over the Carolina player was definitely a cross check. Anderson played pretty well, that Carolina team is good. And the Avs had equal amount of scoring chances and shots. Why did the Avs not deserve to win. I guess Ward was extraordinary, way better then Anderson. XTC you make no since.

I've been critical of some things, but I have to say Sacco shut me up last night. The move to have Wolski with O'Rielly worked perfectly. Great move Joe. I thought last night was Anderson's worst game as an Av, but really it was better than 78 of the games by either goalie last year. The wrap around was soft, but his D were either not communicating on the play or out of position, and Andy wasn't ready.
I have to say even though I've been critical a few times, XTC, you have no basis for "Andy will be gassed". There are 71 games after tonight, I'm sure they can find his some time off. It's also an Olympic year, meaning he'll have 14-16 days off in the middle of the season. I know there is alot of talk that he may break into the USA lineup, but realistically I don't see him playing. Ryan Miller has been equally good and is their go-to unless Tim Thomas really turns it around.

Also,Weiman, notoriously inconsistant, got a shut out in the AHL. Chris Durno has 9 points in 8 games. I don't think we can expect him to score 100 in the NHL. Same with Tyler. I'd be more concerned with him starting than I would if it was Andy's 25th game in a row.

In my opinion, Andy will be OK if he plays a few more games in a row. I am sure that's what he wanted when he left Florida. By the way, anybody knows the extent of McLeod's eye injury? For how long will he be out?
